As the Guizhou–Zhangjiajie–Changde railway neared opening, Zhangjiajie sent a promotion team to cities along the route, including Enshi in Hubei, to present winter travel products and offers. Winter measures were announced during the events, with core scenic areas adopting off-season ticket prices and free admission to several attractions for passengers on the line first train.
The new railway makes weekend trips to Zhangjiajie easier for residents of Enshi and beyond. Organisers said that as more high-speed lines are completed, Zhangjiajie will gain a fast, outward-reaching transport network, with inter-province trips and short getaways both expected to grow.
