How to get to Huangguoshu: high-speed rail, air and self-driving

Getting to Huangguoshu

Huangguoshu Waterfall lies in Zhenning County, Anshun, Guizhou, right beside the Shanghai–Kunming Expressway. Common ways to arrive are high-speed rail, air and self-driving.

High-speed rail

• Take the high-speed rail to Anshun West or Huangguoshu Station, then transfer by tourist shuttle or ride-hailing to the site;
• About an hour from Guiyang — the first choice for most visitors.

By air

• Fly to Guiyang Longdongbao Airport, then continue by high-speed rail or coach to Anshun / Zhenning;
• In peak season, book a car or transfer service in advance.

Self-driving

• Navigate to the “Huangguoshu Waterfall Visitor Center / car park” via the Shanghai–Kunming Expressway — good roads throughout;
• A car park is available; spaces are tight in peak season, so arrive early.

Transfer order

From the visitor center, take the shuttle to Tianxingqiao, the main waterfall and Doupotang in turn. Stops run to the day’s schedule — allow time for transfers.
