FAQ
Can I cover Huangguoshu, Tianxingqiao and Doupotang in one day?
Yes, with good planning. A time-saving order is usually Doupotang → Tianxingqiao → the main fall; the main fall is the highlight, so give it ample time. For a deeper Tianxingqiao visit or to add the night tour and nearby spots, allow two days for a calmer experience.
Which areas does the Huangguoshu ticket cover?
The main ticket generally covers the core areas — the great fall, Tianxingqiao and Doupotang — while the shuttle, night tour, rafting and the large escalator are separate. Each type’s scope follows the booking notes; confirm your ticket before you go and enter within your slot.
What is the daily visitor cap at Huangguoshu?
To protect the experience and safety, Huangguoshu uses booking and flow control with a daily cap; once reached, same-day booking stops. In peak season, book early and choose a suitable slot.
Is there a shuttle inside Huangguoshu?
Yes. The areas are far apart and long to walk, so a paid shuttle runs between the ticket centre and the sights. Combining the shuttle with walking and a sensible order saves a lot of energy.
How tall is Huangguoshu? How long is the Water Curtain Cave?
The great fall is about 77.8 m high and 101 m wide, the heart of the group. The Water Curtain Cave sits about 40–47 m up the fall, some 134 m long, with several windows, running behind the water. Its form varies with the flow; the wet season brings the greatest volume and power.
