Routes at Huangguoshu can flex with your time. A one-day trip centres on the three core areas — Doupotang, then the great fall, then Tianxingqiao to save time; two days add Longgong, Balinghe Bridge or Tunpu beyond the core; three days can string caves, the bridge, countryside and ethnic culture into one complete line.
As the area is large and the sights scattered, use the shuttle between them; peak season is busy, so plan the route and allow for queues for a calmer visit. For openings and tickets, follow the day’s notices.
