A bridge across the gorge

The Balinghe Bridge spans a karst gorge near Huangguoshu and is a standout among mountainous long-span bridges. With soaring towers and a deck high in the air against peak clusters, it is a spectacle in itself — from a suitable spot you can view the whole bridge and the gorge.

The bridge museum: making "Guizhou bridges" clear

Nearby is a bridge-themed science museum introducing Guizhou's mountain-bridge construction and engineering through exhibits and hands-on learning, with study rooms, a library, creative shops and themed leisure. It suits families and study trips; those keen on engineering and geography will gain a lot.

Extreme sports and views

  • If you take part, choose open activities, know your limits and follow on-site guidance;
