Anshun's historic quarter lies in the heart of the city beside Hongshan Lake, easy to reach. It keeps many historic buildings, including several protected sites; walking its stone lanes between timbered old houses has a lingering charm.
Today the quarter blends dining, shopping, creative shops and leisure — local snacks alongside design and cultural businesses — a good place to feel Anshun's street life and old-city memory. When visiting Huangguoshu and Longgong, fit in half a day for the old town.
